A conversation with Jerry:
Jerry: We might consider getting a new car sometime in the future. Perhaps something with just a little more space.
Me: I don't know, I don't think we really need to upgrade so quickly.
Jerry: Well we're soon going to have two carseats in the back.
Me: That should be ok, right?
Jerry: Well the last time we traveled it was pretty tight squeeze with Rachel and Levi and all our stuff. If we put two carseats back there, we won't be able to take Rachel. And really, if we're not taking Rachel, then why would we travel?
Me: A very very good point.
that makes me so happy. but i bet it makes rachel even happier!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've heard about how long it takes you to make a big purchase, starting to 'consider getting a new car sometime in the future' wouldn't exactly qualify as acting 'quickly.' And Levi will be 6 or 7 by then, so he wouldn't need the car seat any more...
ReplyDeleteAnd if Stellan's coming with, you'll need 3 car seats in the back. Yup, time to start thinking about a new car. Or moving closer to us so we can just carpool in our car.
ReplyDeleteYeah, try 3 car seats in the back. That's when things get really tight. It also allows Nora who is sitting in the middle to bother the other two kids simultaneously. Oh, that last part probably wouldn't apply to you though.
